Sitarganj: 60 mobile phones, several chargers and batteries have been recovered in the excavation of the grounds of Central Jail, Sitarganj. The jail superintendent has registered a case in the matter. Now it will be investigated how the mobile reached the jail, where and with whom what has been talked about. The team searched all the barracks of the jail at around 11 pm. In addition, the nearby ground was also excavated. In the excavation, 60 mobile phones, some chargers and batteries were found buried in the pit.
It is illegal to use mobile phones of prisoners in the jail, so it is being taken very seriously. Jail Superintendent Malik has filed a case in this regard in Kotwali. In which it has been said that if any illegal work has been done by anyone from the mobile phone, it should be investigated. The police have started investigation by registering a case against unknown person under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. The team that searched the jail included the prisoner guard Arvind Kumar, Ram Singh Kapkoti, Anuj Kumar, Nikhil Parashar, Prakash Kunwar, Surendra Pratap. Singh, Suraj Goswami, Ram Giri, Praveen Belwal, Deepak Bhatt, Lalit Negi, Mahipal Koranga, Prabhu Singh etc. were involved.
