West Bengal : In West Bengal, the car of Arpita Mukherjee, the main accused in the SSC scam and a close aide of TMC leader Partha Chatterjee, met with an accident while on her way to the ED office. On the way, a car rammed into ED’s car.

The accident took place in the Salt Lake area on the way to CGO Complex. No one has suffered much damage in the accident. Arpita will be produced in the special court today.
During the raid, the ED had found cash worth over Rs 21 crore from the actress’s house. At the same time, the Calcutta High Court has directed the ED to transfer the arrested West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee to AIIMS Bhubaneswar early on Monday.
Arpita Mukherjee was being brought to the CGO Complex in Salt Lake after a hearing in the Bankshall Court on Sunday evening. Then on the way his car was hit by a car coming from opposite direction. It is being told that Arpita has suffered a head injury in this accident. According to the information, the ED’s car collided with a speeding vehicle. The vehicle is slightly broken in this but there is no news of any casualty.
Arpita to appear in PMLA court today
Minister Partha Chatterjee’s aide Arpita Mukherjee has been sent to one-day ED custody. He will be produced in PMLA court today. Arpita Mukherjee’s lawyer Neeladri Bhattacharya said that this case can go on in the special court only. The ED had sought 14 days’ custody, but the court refused.
Partha Chatterjee to visit AIIMS Bhubaneswar
At the same time, the Calcutta High Court has directed the ED to transfer the arrested West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee to AIIMS Bhubaneswar early on Monday. The court said that the accused will be taken by ambulance from SSKM Hospital to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata and will be accompanied by his lawyer and an SSKM doctor. Along with this, the court has asked the team of expert doctors to conduct a medical examination of Parth.
