Uttrakhand : Only a few days are left for this year’s Amarnath Yatra to begin. In such a situation, the administration is on full alert mode. No compromise is being made with the safety system of the passengers, and updates are being made about it continuously.
The first batch of the Yatra is to leave from Jammu on June 29. In such a situation, keeping in mind the security of the city, about 5000 additional personnel are being deployed in Jammu before the yatra. At the same time, a quick reaction team has also been deployed in Jammu to deal with any situation.
In fact, intelligence agencies have issued an alert regarding this year’s Amarnath Yatra. According to this, travel from Pakistan across the border can be disturbed. Therefore, the administration does not want any kind of lapse.
Sticky bombs or magnetic bombs from Pakistan can be used during travel. In fact, recently, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has recovered magnetic bombs, including several sticky bombs sent by drones from across the border.
Deployment of 50 thousand soldiers
Elaborate arrangements have been made for the safety of the pilgrims during the Amarnath Yatra. About 50 thousand soldiers have been deployed from Lakhanpur to the holy cave.
For the first time, all the camps of the Yatra will be monitored by drones. At the same time, the base camp of Bhagwati Nagar has been sealed. In this, only those people will be allowed whose security passes will be made.
Will keep a close eye on every corner for 24 hours
A close watch is being kept on the concerned areas even before the Yatra. At the same time, as soon as the journey starts, paramilitary forces and police personnel will patrol together for 24 hours.
Investigations will continue in and around the camp with a bomb disposal squad and dog squad. According to SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, all the officers are personally monitoring.
LG Manoj Sinha also held a meeting
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has recently held a meeting regarding security arrangements and other preparations. Let us inform that this time the Shrine Board has expressed the hope of reaching more than 7 lakh devotees. At the same time, a total of 3.5 lakh devotees had reached in 2019.
Ban on these food items in langars
Amarnath Yatra is starting after two years due to Corona epidemic. In such a situation, some food items have been banned in the langars during the journey. Under this, things like fried food, junk food, sweet dish, chips, samosas will not be available.
Dozens of such things have been banned. The Shrine Board has written a letter to all the langar committees that only nutritious items like green vegetables, salad, maize roti, plain dal, low fat milk and curd should be given to the pilgrims.
