New Delhi : The economic challenges of the whole world are not taking the name of diminishing. Due to the first corona epidemic, the economies of countries around the world reached a difficult situation. At the same time, many countries around the world are troubled by the impact of inflation, due to which the threat of a global economic recession is visible.
Meanwhile, the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristylina Gyrozhieva, through a blog, has given a warning about the impact of inflation, which is going to increase the concern of the whole world.
Kristylina Jyrozhieva said through the blog that the year 2022 will be difficult and the year 2023 is going to be even more difficult. Along with this, he has said that people are not going to get relief from inflation soon. Because of this, 70 million people of poor countries around the world will become poor.
In many countries instability can come at the level of society
International Monetary Fund MD Kristalina Georgieva has mentioned rising inflation through a blog. Expressing concern, he said that the inflation remained at the highest level across the world. At the same time, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has increased it further. Most of the poor countries are facing inflation in excess of 5%. In the coming times, the inflation situation may get worse. This can lead to instability in the status of society in many countries.
Global energy crisis may be the trigger
Kristalina Giorgieva said disruptions in natural gas supplies in Europe could push the economies of many countries into recession, triggering a global energy crisis. This will make 2022 difficult and possibly increase the risk of recession in 2023. Simultaneously, major central banks have announced more monetary tightening, which is necessary but will lead to inflation.
