Haldwani: Two brothers-in-law clashed after sending a message to sister-in-law on mobile in Kamaluvaganja, Haldwani. One has filed a complaint in the police station accusing the other of firing outside the house. The police have registered a case of threatening to kill. The youth, resident of Kamaluvaganja, has accused the brother-in-law, a resident of Hiranagar police post area, of abusing, threatening to kill and firing outside the house. The youth has said in the Tahrir given to the Mukhani police that on August 21, his brother-in-law started abusing him on the phone. The brother-in-law accused the victim’s younger brother of sending obscene messages to his wife. In this regard, Hiranagar police outpost also reached both the sides. After seeing the details of the message sent, outpost in-charge Rajveer Singh Negi informed Kotwal Haldwani Manoj Raturi over phone that all the allegations are baseless. None of the messages are obscene and threatening. In which it was decided by mutual consent that the whole incident is of family misunderstanding. The matter of the house should not go out, so everything was decided after discussing with the sadhu. After going home, at 11.25 pm, the brother-in-law called and inquired about his well being. On discussing the developments of the day, he told that sometimes such a phase comes. The young man has written in the Tahrir that the brother-in-law called for a meeting only in talks. When he refused to be late at night, he himself started talking about coming home. It is alleged that at around 12 o’clock in the night, the father-in-law came out of the house in his car and parked the car and started looking at the house while smoking a cigarette. When there was no response to his voice, he fired two rounds and kept on walking. Due to which an atmosphere of panic was created in the house.
