New Delhi : Corona infection is increasing rapidly in the country, while new cases of corona in the country’s capital Delhi have broken all the previous records today. According to the data released today, 28,867 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi . This is the highest number of coron cases in any single day in Delhi. Earlier on April 20, 28,395 cases had come. With this, now the number of active corona patients has also increased to 94,160, which is the highest in about 8 and a half months. Earlier on May 1, this number was 96,747.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Delhi Government, there are currently 62,324 patients in home isolation. While talking about the number of patients discharged in the last 24 hours, this number stood at 22,121. Meanwhile, 98,832 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, out of which 80,417 RTPCR tests were done while the number of antigen tests was 18,415. At the same time, the number of containment zones has also increased to 23,997.
What is the condition of patients in hospitals?
If we look at the number of patients admitted in Delhi’s hospitals, there are 2424 patients admitted in Delhi, in which 628 patients are admitted in ICU beds and 768 patients are admitted on oxygen beds or ventilators.
When Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was asked a question on the rising corona figures today, he said that there is no need to panic seeing the increasing cases of corona. Because more tests are happening, more cases are also coming out.
Satyendra Jain said that the number of patients admitted in hospitals has remained the same for the last 4-5 days. He said that there has been no increase in these, it can be understood that the situation is fine now and now the cases will come less. Satyendra Jain further said that it can also be understood that we are around the peak and if this situation continues for 3-4 days, then it is expected that there will be further slope in corona cases.
