New Delhi : Big news has come out regarding the budget session of Parliament. The budget session is going to start from January 31. Not only this, this time the budget session will be held in two phases. The first phase will run from January 31 to February 11, while the second phase will run from March 14 to April 8. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget on February 1 in the first phase of the budget session. This will be the second budget of the government during the Corona period. In such a situation, it is expected that the budget to give impetus to the Indian economy will be presented.
The common man is expected to get a lot of relief from this year’s budget. The session will begin with President Ram Nath Kovind’s address to the members of both the houses. The budget session of Parliament will run from January 31 to April 8. This will be done in two phases, which have been recommended by the Central Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
There will be a one-month holiday between the budget sessions to be held in two phases. This holiday will start from February 12, which will last till March 13. At the same time, the second phase of the Parliament budget session will start from March 14. This phase will last till April 8. The special thing is that in the meantime, assembly elections of five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur will also be held. This is the reason that the effect of the results of this election can be visible in the second phase of Parliament.
So far 718 employees infected with corona
In fact, even the Parliament House is no exception to this amid the increasing threat of Corona virus. The effect of the third wave has also been seen in the Parliament House. According to the information received, 718 employees of Parliament House have been infected with Corona in the last one month.
This session is starting at a time when about 400 employees belonging to different services of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats have been found to be covid positive in the last few days.
Most of them have been infected during the last two weeks. Till January 9, about 400 personnel were corona infected, but on Wednesday this figure crossed the 700 mark. Let us inform that in the last three days, an increase of about 43 percent has been seen in these figures.
On the other hand, after the Corona blast in Parliament, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu asked the officials to take necessary measures to conduct the upcoming budget session safely.
