Uttarakhand : In view of the upcoming assembly elections, the Kalsi Police is engaged in continuous action against drug smuggling. The police have arrested a person in the car with 6.59 grams of smack. The police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act.
Kalsi police was on patrol on Wednesday night. Then the informer informed the police about smack smuggling. The team of Kalsi police, who reached the spot, stopped the suspect car rider and searched him.
During the search, smack and cash of three thousand one hundred and fifty rupees were recovered from Qureshi Mohalla Jeevangarh, resident of accused Naushad son Yakub. SO Ashok Rathore said that an electronic fork was recovered from the possession of the accused.
Told that a case was registered against the accused. The accused was produced in the court. From where the accused was sent to jail in judicial custody. SI Neema, constable Dinesh Chandra and Sanjeev Kumar were included in the police team.
