Pandemic corona virus is spreading rapidly across the country. Corona is making new records every day. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 3 lakh 47 thousand new corona virus cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. There has been an increase of 9 percent in new cases today compared to the cases on Thursday.
During this 2.51 lakh have been cured. The total number of omicron cases in the country has risen to 9,692, an increase of 4.36 per cent from yesterday. Corona is spreading rapidly in many states, which is a matter of serious concern.
3,47,254 new cases in 24 hours
According to the data released by the ministry, 29,722 more cases have been registered in the country since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 3 lakh 47 thousand 254 new cases of corona have been reported. Whereas on Thursday, 3 lakh 17 thousand 532 cases of corona virus were reported. In the country, 9,692 cases have been reported after an increase of 4.36 percent in the cases of Omicron variants compared to yesterday.
More than 700 deaths in a day
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday, more than 700 people died due to corona in the last 24 hours. 703 people died in one day. Out of which 341 people have died due to this virus in Kerala alone. The death toll from this epidemic in the country has increased to 4,88,396.
Covid samples and vaccinations
According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 70 crore 93 lakh 56 thousand 830 covid samples have been tested in the country. Out of these, 19 lakh 35 thousand 180 samples were tested in the country on Wednesday. Along with this, 1 billion 60 crore 43 lakh 70 thousand 484 crore vaccine doses have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign. In the last 24 hours 70 lakh 49 thousand 779 people have been vaccinated.
46 thousand new infected in Maharashtra
On Thursday, 46 thousand 197 new cases of corona infection have been registered in Maharashtra. 37 patients died in one day. There are currently 2,58,569 active cases of infection in the state. So far 14 judges in the Supreme Court have been infected with Corona. However, the two judges have started working fine. On Thursday, 12 out of 32 judges were in various stages of quarantine.
