Raiwala. Raiwala village head has been dismissed from the post. Village head Sagar Giri was accused of contesting elections on the basis of fake caste certificate. The DM has taken the action of dismissal after the allegations are confirmed in the investigation. On the other hand, the sacked Pradhan has called it a one-sided action.
On the basis of the complaint of Raiwala Gram Panchayat resident Ram Bahadur Kshetri and the report of the Scrutiny Committee, DM Sonika has canceled the caste certificate of village head Sagar Giri of Raiwala. He was removed from the post on the instructions of the District Magistrate. Deputy Chief Jayanand Dimri has been instructed to take charge till the by-elections are held. Sagar Giri was accused that during the panchayat elections, he got wrong caste certificate made and attached it with his papers. On the basis of wrong documents, he became the village head on the reserved seat. Sagar Giri, who was removed from the post of village head, says that this order of the District Magistrate is one-sided. This action is the result of the occupation of the sealing land of Auroveli Ashram and the campaign against the land mafia. He says that this decision has been taken due to political pressure. His case of caste certificate is already under consideration in the High Court. He will again go to the High Court against this decision. At the same time, Deputy Chief Jayanand Dimri says that the order of the District Magistrate will be followed.
