New Delhi : Corona infection has now reached the community spread in the state, while the virus did not spread so fast even in the second wave. Now the condition is that the chain of infection found in contact tracing of a patient is increasing in many branches. Experts say that it will be at its peak in January end and February. In such a situation, it can be heavy to take Corona lightly.
There are now 74561 active cases of corona in the state. At the same time, the positivity rate has now reached 20 percent as compared to the investigation. This rate indicates the intensity of the infection. Although experts have consistently been describing the Omicron variant of this wave as mild, but it will remain so in future too, there is no such claim. That is, when this form will change, cannot be said. Vigilance is the only way to avoid it.
17 districts at high risk
The positivity rate is more than 10 percent in 17 districts of the state. Of these, there are 9 districts where the positivity rate is more than 15 percent compared to the investigation. The positivity rate of Jaipur, Udaipur, Alwar, Kota, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh is more than 15 percent. Jaipur and Jodhpur districts have a positivity rate of 24 percent. Infection rates are also increasing in Pali, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar, Barmer, Ajmer and Alwar.
Some restrictions needed
According to the covid-19 epidemic guideline of the Indian Council of Medical Research, it is necessary to impose restrictions by creating containment zones in areas with a positivity rate of more than 10 percent. Whereas till now strictness has not been done by creating containment zones at the district level.
Understand responsibility for loved ones
Dr. Virendra Singh, a respiratory specialist and covid-19 epidemic advisor to the Chief Minister, says that now the infection is in community spread. This infection may be mild, but it is proving to be dangerous for those with other serious diseases. If someone has symptoms, don’t take it lightly. Even if such people recover quickly, they can put the lives of the elderly and people with other diseases at risk. So be careful. Get tested and stay isolated.
Dr. Virendra Singh says that the government can do 100% vaccination, but the public will have to take necessary precautions. In two years, ways to avoid the epidemic should have become included in the daily routine of the common people, but this is not being seen. Now the infection is spreading towards smaller cities. In such a situation, it is necessary for the people of these cities that they should not be a part of any crowd. Keep distance from every function.
