New Delhi : There is good news for the general public struggling with inflation. Government petroleum companies have released new rates of LPG cylinders. Today i.e. on June 1, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has been drastically cut. Commercial cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 135. However, there is no relief on domestic LPG cylinders.
State-run petroleum company Indian Oil has cut the price of commercial cylinders by Rs 135. After this Indane cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 135. In the country’s capital Delhi, it will now be available at the rate of Rs 2219 per cylinder. The new prices have come into effect from today.

Many increased prices in two months
Let us tell you that the rate of commercial LPG cylinder was increased several times during the last two months. In March, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 2,012. After this, its price increased to Rs 2,253 on the first date of April. Then on May 1, its price increased by Rs 102. After this, the price of commercial cylinder increased to Rs 2,354.
Domestic consumers did not get relief
Petroleum companies have not made any change in the rate of domestic LPG cylinders. There is no relief for domestic consumers i.e. 14.2 KG cylinders today. It remains at the same rate as on May 19. Its price was increased twice in May itself. On May 7, the companies had increased the price of 14.2 kg cylinder by Rs 50. Then on May 19, with an increase of Rs 3.50, its price went beyond Rs 1,000 in many cities.
