Reliance Jio today launched its true 5G network in 4 more cities, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ludhiana and Siliguri. Jio is the only operator to launch 5G services in Gwalior, Jabalpur and Ludhiana. In total, 72 cities are now connected on Reliance Jio’s True 5G network.
Jio users in these cities will be invited under the ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ and Jio users in these cities will get 1Gbps+ speed and unlimited data from January 6 at no extra cost. Commenting on the launch, a Jio spokesperson said, “We are delighted to add four more cities to the Jio True 5G network.
Jio is the preferred operator and technology brand for users in Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Punjab, he said. Jio True 5G will create immense growth opportunities for the people of the state in the areas of tourism, manufacturing, SMEs, e-governance, education, healthcare, agriculture, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming and IT. We are grateful to the state governments and administration teams for their continued support in our efforts to digitize these sectors. Jio intends to launch its true 5G services in every city, every taluka of India by the end of December 2023.
