The cases of corona may not have decreased in Maharashtra, but in the meantime, the Uddhav government of the state has decided to open schools once again. Under this, schools are being opened once again in the state from January 24. The special thing is that CM Uddhav Thackeray has approved the decision to open the school. This information was given by Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad. With this approval, schools can be opened in the state from Monday following the corona protocol.
Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that in the midst of increasing cases of corona, we had a meeting with the task force and the Parent Teacher Association. In this meeting, all of them agreed to open the schools. However, during this time it will be mandatory to strictly follow the rules of Corona. If not, strict action will be taken against the school.
All classes will start till 12th
The Education Minister said that all SOPs will be followed when schools open in Maharashtra. The health and safety of children will come first. The consent of the parents will be taken from the parents, then the children will be admitted to the school. From Monday i.e. January 24, all the schools from pre-primary and class 1 to 12 will start.
Decision will be taken on the basis of corona cases
The Education Minister said that the decision regarding the opening of schools would be taken on the basis of the number of cases of the local administration in their respective areas. Where there will be more covid cases, permission will not be given at the moment.
But local area cases are less and SOPs can be followed then schools should start. The final decision to open the school will be with the local administration but from January 24, schools will start in Maharashtra. Wherever the situation is fine and under control.
Let us inform that earlier a parent union in Mumbai had written a letter to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation commissioner. In this letter, a request was made to open the schools immediately by January 24. It is believed that the meeting was organized on the basis of this letter and the CM approved the proposal.
