Indore : PM Narendra Modi on Friday virtual launched the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy. In the program, Modi also talked to three youth who started startups first. On this occasion, the PM said- Discussed with the youth associated with the startup of MP.

Modi said that Indore has set a big example in front of the country in cleanliness campaign. Indore can also become a role model in front of the country in terms of chemical-free farming, natural farming.
PM Modi said that when our government came in 2014, there were around 300-400 startups in the country
Today the world of startup has changed in India, there are about 70 thousand new startups in our country. Now India has the third largest startup hub in the world. We are also emerging as a force to be reckoned with in the world’s biggest unicorn startup.
Now a new unicorn startup is being created in the country every 7 days. 50% of startups fall in Tier II and Tier III cities. We started Innovation- Atal Innovation. Atal Tinkering Centers are running in more than 10 thousand schools.
Startups play a big role in increasing the potential of tourism in our country
The toy industry is also a big sector. More than 800 startups of India are associated with the work of sports. He said that this has created the spirit of sports. He told that India is in the top 5 countries of the world in mobile gaming.

The three youths of MP with whom PM Modi interacted include Tanu Saraswat, a shop grocery startup, Umang Shridhar, director of Bhopal’s Umang Shridhar Design, and Tausif Khan, founder of Gramophone, a company working in the field of agriculture in Indore.
Earlier in the Startup Conclave- 2022, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that today in hundreds of colleges of MP, more than 5 lakh youth are directly associated with the college. He said that if the right path is found, Indore will leave Bangalore behind in startup.
On this occasion, CM Shivraj announced to reduce stamp duty in Madhya Pradesh. He said- Madhya Pradesh Startup Portal is being launched. We will try to establish Indore, Bhopal and other cities as startup hubs.
