New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the sixth Bundelkhand Expressway in Uttar Pradesh connecting Chitrakoot and Etawah. The foundation stone of this project was laid by the Prime Minister in 2020.
This project is now complete. CM Yogi Adityanath was also present along with PM Modi during the inauguration of Bundelkhand Expressway in Jalaun. Bundelkhand Expressway is 296 km long. The state will facilitate transport services with four lanes constructed with an investment of Rs 14,850 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi first reached Kanpur for the inauguration of Bundelkhand Express. CM Yogi welcomed the Prime Minister. After this, Prime Minister Modi and CM Yogi left for Jalaun by helicopter. Before entering the stage, the PM saw the exhibition of the arts of Bundelkhand. Appreciating the artefacts made from sand and colors etc. PM said that in the inaugural program of Bundelkhand Express, Prime Minister Modi said that an industrial area will be developed along the expressway. Storage houses will be set up. Cold storage will be created.
New dimension to the economy of Bundelkhand: CM Yogi
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the economy of Bundelkhand will get a new dimension. Now Bundelkhand will give a sense of dignity and pride to the people. At the same time employment will be given to the youth, traders will also get a boost.
