Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to Gujarat. Today is the second day of his tour. He is going to attend the foundation stone-laying ceremony of “WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jamnagar on Tuesday.
PM is going to lead a road show from Ahmedabad airport this evening along with the Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth. Modi and Jagannath will start the roadshow at 6 pm after reaching Ahmedabad airport from Jamnagar.
Officials of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) said that the Prime Minister of Mauritius will be given a grand welcome. Officials said that 30 platforms have been set up at regular distance on the two-km roadshow route from Airport Circle to Indira Bridge, where troupes will perform.
According to the information received, the Prime Ministers of both the countries will travel from the airport to the Raj Bhavan and at least 15,000 people are expected to be present to greet them.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine will strengthen efforts to use traditional systems of medicine to advance global health.
The Ministry of AYUSH informed that on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be accompanied by Mauritius PM Pravind Jugnauth and WHO Director General Tedros Ghebreyesus.
Let us tell you that the Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth arrived in India on an eight-day visit on Sunday. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this visit will boost cultural ties between the two countries.
The Ministry of External Affairs further said “India and Mauritius share a uniquely close relationship, bound by shared history, culture and heritage. The upcoming visit will further strengthen the vibrant bilateral ties.”
