Uttarakhand : On the instructions of District Election Officer Eva Srivastava, the first phase of randomization of EVM and VVPAT machines was done in NIC auditorium. On this occasion, Deputy District Election Officer ADM Ramji Sharan Sharma said that the first phase of randomization of EVMs and VVPAT machines has been done through computer software of Government of India.
Through software, a list has been prepared for the first randomization of EVMs and VVPAT machines for 6 assembly constituencies of the district. In which it was determined that which number of EVMs and VVPAT machines will go to which assembly constituency. After the first randomization of EVM and VVPAT machines, the Vidhan Sabha wise list of EVM and VVPAT machines was printed out.
After seeing the list of officers present in the auditorium and office bearers of political parties, it was signed. Sharma directed the concerned nodal officers to make the Vidhan Sabha-wise list available to the concerned as well as send it to the e-mail id and WhatsApp group. He said that the first level workers, who have completed three months after applying the second dose, should make sure to apply the booster dose.
After the first randomization, according to the list prepared by the Legislative Assembly, the EVMs and VVPAT machines kept in the strong rooms of the warehouses were segregated in the presence of the political parties, so that the machines were made available to the ROs of the respective assembly constituencies in their stog rooms. can be kept in Officials of political parties including Nodal Officer EVM and VVPAT Minal Gulati, Nodal Officer Political Party BK Gupta, Nodal Officer Media-Social Media Bhajani, Assistant Nodal Officer EVM and VVPAT SP Maithani were present on this occasion.
