Uttar pradesh : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday gave wings to the employment of Gorakshanagri and the development of the city. A plan was made to give on-spot jobs to 10,000 youths of Gorakhpur division in the mega employment fair to be organized in Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT).
Apart from this, the foundation stone was laid by CM Yogi for development projects worth Rs 122.29 crore of the Municipal Corporation. CM Yogi launched the project of 25 door-to-door garbage collection vehicles, two jetting machines, 10 electric buses and two e-tourist buses.
Ration distribution for three consecutive days
The Food Department could not distribute the entire ration for June in July last month. Now the remaining ration card holders will be distributed June’s ration for 3 days between August 3 and 5. Due to delay in lifting, the delivery date was extended four times in the month of July. Considering the problems of lifting, distribution, single stage ration delivery system was implemented by the government.
Foundation stone laid for these works
Waste processing plant was established. In which 50 TPD capacity will be destroyed at a cost of about Rs 2.65 crore. The work of 44 drinking water supply was started by the 15th Finance Commission and Municipal Corporation at a cost of 14.11 crores. Various projects worth Rs 32 crore were decided in the wards under the councilor’s preference.
Construction of 95 roads and drains in different wards at a cost of Rs 11.16 crore from the funds of 15th Finance Commission and Municipal Corporation. Procurement of pumps worth about 20.11 lakhs for drainage. Beautification of four parks in different wards and construction of Chhath Pokhara at Manbela at a cost of Rs 52.34 lakh.
Chief Minister boosted the enthusiasm of the players
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the state government has opened its treasury for the development of sports and promotion of sportspersons. Sportspersons who have won medals in Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth and other competitions are being appointed as gazetted officers.
