Teacher recruitment scam happened during his ministership, in such a situation, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should immediately sack him from the post of minister. He said that everyone in Bengal knew about this scam. After the intervention of the court, the investigation agencies started the action, after which the truth has come out.
Let us tell you, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested West Bengal Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee on Saturday 23 July. The ED had also arrested Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of Partha Chatterjee and cash worth Rs 21 crore was seized from one of their hideouts. Both have been arrested in connection with the ED’s probe into the school recruitment scam.
On Monday, a Kolkata court gave ED 10 days custody of Partha Chatterjee and Arpita Mukherjee. On the other hand, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee made a statement after the arrest of Partha Chatterjee that I do not support corruption or any wrongdoing. If they are found guilty, they should be punished. The party will also take action. But, I criticize the malicious campaign against me.
CM also said that if someone has committed a mistake, then no matter how big the punishment he gets, I don’t care. We will not support such people, but within a certain time frame a decision should be given on the basis of truth. I will not bow down to threats. If someone has done wrong and is proved guilty by the decision of law, then they themselves will be responsible for that.
