On Monday, 75 complaints were received from the capital, in the Rishiparna auditorium of the Collectorate office in Dehradun, under the chairmanship of Dehradun District Magistrate, Smt.
In the public hearing held today, mainly illegal occupation of land, getting stopped payment, installation of security gate in the colony, construction of house in the plot, getting medical claim, getting admission rejected, stopping the arbitrariness of land mafia, getting ration card, old age pension , to get financial assistance, to close the drain, to remove the encroachment, to rebuild the temple damaged in the disaster, to recover the bank, to get rid of the pavement, to get rid of water logging, to get more electricity bill, not to fix the irrigation canal, etc. The complaints pertained to the Tehsils. Most of the complaints were resolved on the spot.
During the same time, DM of Dehradun district gave instructions to the concerned sub-district magistrates, departmental officers to dispose off the complaints related to land, pasta, water logging, encroachment. Along with this, the officers were directed that the grievances which have not been resolved on the spot in the public hearing, should be disposed of within the stipulated time and apprise the complainant as well.
He directed the departmental officers that the concerned officers should check the status of disposal of complaints related to their departments from the grievance counter collectorate and the departments whose complaints are pending for disposal should ensure disposal of complaints at the earliest. He gave clear instructions to ensure serious disposal of complaints received in public hearing, strict action will be taken against departmental officers who take complaints lightly.
On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Jharna Kamthan, Divisional Forest Officer, Additional District Magistrate (V/R) K.K. Mishra, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dr. K Barnwal, Assistant Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Trainee IAS Varuna Agarwal, District Dehradun Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Kumar Upreti, Irrigation, PWD, Health, Municipal Corporation, MDDA, Social Welfare, Sports, Education and officers of all concerned departments. Personnel were present and SDM Doiwala, Rishikesh, Vikasnagar, Chakrata remained connected through virtual medium.
