Siliguri : The wait is finally over. The Bengal Safari Park is finally opened for public. After the second wave of Corona, this tourist center is opened now.
The park has been a major tourist attraction in North Bengal. Many people stays in Siliguri for a day and enjoy the Safari before going up the hill.
The park gates were closed for the tourists after the second wave of Corona begins.
Badal Debnath, director of the park, said, “The safari park has been opened after following all the rules of Corona.”
The park was closed from March 2020 to October 2020 during the first wave of the Corona. The park was again closed in May 2021 due to second wave. The park is reopened to the public again since 15th of September 2021.
The park opened after four and a half months. Tourists are happy for the opening after a long time.
