Uttrakhand : GVK Company has started work to complete the missing works in the new temple of Siddhpeeth Dhari Devi. After the construction of the temple of Siddhpeeth Dhari Devi, there was anger among the devotees due to not shifting here. Dhari Devi devotee Deepak Uniyal had warned of fast-unto-death if the idol of Dhari Devi was not shifted to the new temple and the work was not completed.
After which the work left in the Dhari Devi temple has started. At the same time, on February 11, the priests of Dhari Devi had taken the time to shift the idol of Dhari Devi to the new temple. Even after this, the GVK company has expedited the work.
The worship of Siddhpeeth Dhari Devi is going on in the temporary temple since the disaster in 2013. A new temple has been built by GVK company by lifting it from the river. But the structure of the temple was ready, but many works were left in it, due to which the temple could not be shifted.
Social worker Deepak Uniyal expressed happiness over the beginning of the work left in the Dhari Devi temple. He said that only a few works were left in the temple, which were not being done on time, a demand was raised from the administration regarding this. After which the work has started. Said that the shifting of the idol of Dhari Devi to the new temple would facilitate the devotees.
Inside the temple, other works including the Havan Mandap have started. It has been said from the company that by January 30, the work of Dhari Devi will be completed. The temple priests have taken out the Muhurta of February 11, in view of this, all the unfinished work of the temple will be completed. Siddhpeeth priest Lakshmi Prasad Pandey told that on February 11, the idol of Dhari Devi will be shifted to the new temple. For this, the religious officer of the temple committee, Bhuvan Chandra Uniyal has also given consent.
