There was a fierce scuffle between the Youth Congress workers and the police who were going to protest against the program of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami in Haldwani of Nainital district. As soon as the Congress workers gathered at Tikonia Park started moving forward, the police stopped them. After a lot of effort, the police detained State Youth Congress President Sumittar Bhullar as well as other protesters. All of them were released only after the CM’s program was over.
CM’s gratitude rally was organized by BJP Yuva Morcha at Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani. The rally was organized to pat the government on the back for implementing the anti-copying law. Such programs are being organized across the state. On the other hand, the Youth Congress says that the government is avoiding the CBI inquiry into the rigging of the recruitment examinations. There are many loopholes in the anti-copying law. The government itself is busy in getting itself praised.
Seeing the number of Congress workers, the police also appeared alert. After an uproar that lasted for about ten minutes, the police took everyone into custody. Later, the police took them in two buses. During this, several times there was a scuffle between the police and the youth Congressmen. He was released only after the completion of the CM programme.
Maharashtra government also asked for a copy of the law: Dhami
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, who reached the rally organized in Haldwani, said that the Maharashtra government has asked for a copy of the anti-copying law that we have brought. The Gujarat government is going to implement it and gradually all the states are going to implement it, but the opposition thinks that by making false allegations against the government, they will find their way to power.
